The maiden edition of the Western Gospel Awards 2021 is scheduled to take place on November 7 at the Word of Life Assemblies of God church at Anaji in Takoradi.
The event will feature electrifying and powerful ministration from the legendary Pastor Joe Beecham, Rev. Charlie Sam, Apostle Wosonyewana Yeboah, Ewuraba Eesi, SK Frimpong, Navah, Kingzkid, Minister JK, MaxPraise, Kwamiena, Ernestina Koney, Kdm, AJ Quansah, Mabel Love among several others.
The Western Gospel Awards organized by Prolific Ghana Entertainment in collaboration with Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) seeks to recognize and appreciate gospel music originating from the Western Region.
The Awards is primarily to take the Ghanaian gospel industry to a new level.
The ceremony will be hosted by celebrated media personality and youth empowerment activist Lady Reverend Princess Ada Ayoka, formerly known as Adalicious Ada and will be aired live on social media platforms - Facebook and YouTube - as well as some selected Television stations.
Lady Rev. Princess Ada Ayoka, the former Melody FM and Yf FM Presenter will bring on board her rich experience of MCing as she, over the years, carved a niche for herself as one of the finest and most decorated emcees in Ghana.
Despite her new endeavor as Lady Reverend, Princess Ada continues to work in the media space with Zylofon FM/TV, Peace FM and Max TV all in Accra.
The awards scheme has 24 categories and among the keenly contested categories are the Gospel Artiste of the Year which has nominees namely Navah, SK Frimpong, Ewuraba Eesi, KDM and Minister JK.
Prolific GH Entertainment urged patrons of the event to expect a great night of gospel music which will give them a memorable experience.
